As of yesterday, Baltic Club is 100% composed of fully dedicated maps and paper lovers.
Mum, dad, I’m OK.
Last year has been so packed with emotions, meeting extraordinary people, inspiring moments, life changing questions to the point that a few weeks ago, I decided to quit my beloved job in order to join Melanie who already spends her days creating beautiful things. I want to give us a try because I truthfully believe in what we do and in our capacity to run our business responsibly.
“IF YOU’RE NOT FULLY DEDICATED TO WHAT YOU REALLY LOVE, HOW CAN YOU KNOW IF IT’S MADE TO LAST?”
Easier said than done, but is it worth the try?
Before I chose to make the move, I barely talked about it to keep the momentum, but now that it’s done, I’ll have the real answer and not just expectations.
Today, we’ve made our biggest sale ever. Even if it’s a small amount, I felt as reassured as I felt happy. What relentlessly cheers me up is my inextinguishable optimism, receiving extraordinary messages from customers, meeting fellow designers from all over the world, smiling at our creations, sharing our passion with geography and illustration lovers.
So many challenges await us now, and the first one will be to establish our pace from scratch. After always having been employed, how do you build your day without the reference points you were always used to follow?
